Just got email that Disney are "exercising their rofr" for our purchase at ssr!
We were buying 150pts feb use year with no points 2014 but full allocation 2015 at $60 a point.
Am so gutted!

Lost an OKW contract last month. It is lousy. Didn't think it would happen to me...thankfully we found a different (better) contract. We are currently in the waiting stage...AGAIN. Hoping you will have success on your next try.

So sorry! Is Disney taking more lately? Back last year when we bought, they didnt seem to be taking much unless it was extremely low. I hope your next one goes thru.

That's a bummer. $60 is pretty low though we passed SSR 200 June with all pints in tact 3 mo ago at $74. Had several offers to buyers before that in the $65-$70 range with no takers. You might want to consider going a few $ pp higher on the next one because even though a seller is willing to accept a low ball doesn't guarantee Disney will and it's tough to wait all that time and start the process over again over a couple hundred bucks

Last year around this time, they were taking back a lot of BWV. So much talk about buying SSR cheap & staying elsewhere.... Wonder if the mouse has caught on & is driving the prices up? If you can buy for $60, why buy new resorts for $160 ?

Truly no rhyme or reason to why Disney uses that ROFR.

wonder if Disney is predicting greater demand for SSR after DTD expansion. I honestly don't understand why SSR is so under valued compared to other resorts - it is a bargain.

Per wdrl, SSR ROFRs for the period of April to May 5th, 11 SSR contracts were ROFR'd with prices between $60 to $74 per point.

I'd say the $60 ROFR was something too hard to refuse for Disney.

They are taking back a lot of BWV now as well (maybe even more than last year).
