Our trip is next week and my DH just had a pretty serious unexpected surgery on his jaw in mid October. Check up last week with info that he is on soft foods for a good while longer. :( We have many dining reservations and a lot of them are buffets. However he was sooo looking forward to his steak at LeCellier and his meal at BOG. Anyone have any clue or ideas if there are any special preparations that could be done for him. I know a steak is not soft foods. Dr said if it was cut into tiny pieces he could try to eat it. I feel so bad for him.:worried: Thankful for any tips.

Sorry to hear this and I hope he is on the mend. I have some food allergies and the chefs are usually very helpful if you make special requests. There are often soups that are quite nice without a lot of chewing. And think about the Italian restaurants for soft pasta dishes. Hope you have a great time.

Thank you.

My suggestion would be to only order one meal at Le Cellier and share the steak. You will have the ability to cut it up as small as needed, but there's no way of knowing how much of it he will be able to eat. Add in one of the yummy side dishes and some of the famous cheese soup that he will be able to eat and that should be enough for two.

Oh, and ask the server/chef at Le Cellier which of the steaks is the most tender and why you need to know. That will help too.

Sorry about this. I wish him fast healing. Is he a smoothie fan? Disney does many great smoothies (and milkshakes!)

I had a SCI FI 4:30 pm set and let it go to get a pre park opening SciFi breakfast. Then they changed the park openings now I'm trying to get a pm again for all of us but I'm thinking that's some wishful thinking. I don't know if they do a milkshake at breakfast.
