just got the NEATEST baby gift ... what a great idea!

Hi guys! My friend just gave me the neatest baby gift! It is a basket filled with lots of teeny tiny little gift boxes. All individually wrapped and dated! She told me to open one each week until the baby arrives! She said it was like an advent calendar! The 1st gift is a onesies type shirt thing. I quickly told her she had done too much, she said the items aren't very pricey items, but I just can't get over what a neat idea that is! That is on the top of my list for my next shower! I just wanted to share a neat idea!

That is a great idea, it reminds me of the fift I got from my DS 3rd grade class when I had my twins. Each one wrote a message on paper for the babies and the teacher rolled them individually with ribbon and sent them to us. It was the sweetest. When people take so much thought and time on a gift its very special

Wow..that sounds even cooler than the 'diaper wreath' I got as a shower gift. The diaper wreath is a metal wreath to which diapers and other goodies (including a freezable teething ring and a set of toy car keys) are tied with blue ribbon. I need to take a picture of it so I can post it here.

HI Denae ~ YES! We talk to her daily via phone. We visit atleast once a week. Last Monday, I went down (she lives about an hour away) to take her shopping for few things (maternity pants). This coming Monday, I am going down to go for her Dr's appt. I can't believe it has been a month since we were matched!!!!

The social worker says everything still looks picture perfect. We are obviously still VERY nervous, but we are just putting our trust and faith that everything goes smoothly!

We are going nuts in anticipation ... we pass by the basket daily and just wonder! LOL!

We get to open our next gift on 2/8! Two more days!
