just got off the phone about discounts

I just called Disney about the new Visa code with free waterparks and more. We are going May 7-11. My problem is we currently have 4 days left on tickets from last year because we purchased no expiration. When I booked, to get dining I had to atleast purchase a one day ticket. So you can see that this new code does little to help me. On to the point, I asked her if anything is out there or if anything was coming that could help cut the cost off my room. She said no. She said that there would NOT be any room discounts offered during this time. She said they did not need to offer them because of the amount of booking they had already recieved for this time frame. I politely told her that I knew a room only discount was offered last year during this time because I used it. She said things were different this year. What do you think? Should I still hold out for hope or should I change my package to let the new Visa code benefit me?

The discounts are getting fewer and far between. They totally skipped our dates this year...end of may first of June.

I hated to do it, but I just cancelled my MYW package with Disney and booked with AAA. It saved my $334...better than the nothing that Disney was offering.
