Just got my email from DD - where's the pin code?

Did I miss something?? Is the 20/30/40 pin that is good for the whole year except blackouts good for only a rooom-only ressie? I want to book a package. We enjoy the Disney Dining...well not all the places but we enjoy eating and staying on property. Plus the kids will still be into the character meals...

Can someone let me know??

If I do room only, not sure I want to pay OOP for all the dining. :P

thanks

Kate

Are they still there and how long have they been there? I have always gotten an explore your resort picks e-mail, but not right away. It is usually closer to when my quotes expire. I usually get one for each saved quote, even if it is the same resort. For example, two of the ones I got in Dec were for AS Movies and then another one for a deluxe. I would see if yours have expired and, if so, save a few more. If you recently made them, give it some time.
Yes, the trips are all still saved. Where do I see the expiry date on the offer?

Room only.

I've gotten a couple of these. If you scroll down past the resort info there is a section called Special Resort Offer...at the bottom it says to call with your pin and it does give one but the deal is the same as on the website: 20% off value, 30% off mod. and 40% off deluxe. Not sure why you would need a pin to get the same deal as on the website...guess they want people to feel special!:rotfl:

The PIN that is being talked about is good through Dec 16, 2010 with some blackout times for holidays. The other PIN that went out in Oct and Nov is good through June 12, 2010.

The offers on the website are only good through June 3, 2010. I don't think it's to make anyone feel special, they are looking for the dates later in 2010, not on the website..

I did get two of these emails myself...one had a pin for 40% off and the other was not a pin but just a GC offer that doesnt require the pin. Funny thing is, although I did look up some dates, I did not "save" any info and the pin came in my son's last name ( who was a minor on all of our trips!) I called Disney to see if that was going to be a problem since he was not old enough to book a trip and he may not even come on the next trip and they said it was no problem since it was my email that I have used for all past trips and they couldn't explain how his last name was on the Dear (blank) family portion.

Room only.

So is the discount good only on a room only ressie or can it be used for the room portion only of a package? I thought I had read somewhere on another thread that it was a discount only on the room portion, but then you could still add dining etc.?? Hoping that is true...of course I haven't gotten the pin yet or I would know this!!

Thanks

Kate
