When we got FP's for an attraction two additional "surprise FP's" came out with them. Maybe that's what they're talking about?

Yup.

That's why I asked exactly what the OP received.

The bonus FP's are not "really" FP's,
but more of a "suggestion" to go see a less popular attraction (like CoP) or an attraction that does not need a FP (like Mickey's Philharmagic.)

It gave us 2 FPs per ticket. It happened to several people on multiple machines.

We received those surprise FP's (for Philharmagic) when we got FP's for Peter pan, but that's really interesting that someone actually got 2 Space Mtn FP's with one ticket.
