Just got back

hi i also got back today and with the exception of sunday it was slow the longest wait i waited all week was 35 minutes other than that about 15-20 minutes to get on the rides. some evn 5-10 minutes

Welcome back DisneyDude10171 and twista.

Are y'all going to write a trip report?

Katholyn

We just got back yesterday, too, and I couldn't believe how great the crowds were! It was weird because the parks didn't seem empty but most of the waits were really short. We actually walked on, I mean literally walked on the Space Maountain, Alien Encounter, & Tower of Terror. I had never seen it like that before.

As for the weather, we didn't see much sunshine, but the temps were mild and it only rained a little.

Did you get any new sounds recorded?

How about the spanish monorail announcement?

That was my brother and my favorite.

Did you see what the current operating schedule is for COP & Timekeeper ? (Will be there 3/9 - 3/13) - Thanks !!

COP was closed last week.

The crowds were not as light as Brian D described, but they weren't bad. Maybe Brian hit the rides at better times than we did.

I agree with twista.... waits averaged 20 ininutes.... some more like 30-40, others only 10.

Weather was beautiful. High 70's to low 80's and humid. Showers in the afternoon/evening on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and SUnday. Bring your ponchos!!!

Tapestry of Dreams was cancelled on Friday 2/28 because of the torrential downpours. Illuminations still went on though.

I wore jeans only once all week.... it was warm enough for shorts and tank tops all week. It got cool at night, but because of the humidity, I was still comfortable in shorts and t-shirts.

We were from 2/23 to 3/1 and our experience was most rides minimal wait or no wait. The longest I saw was 35 minutes. Life is timing.

Let me make a clarification. I forgot about Fantasyland. That was the only area where we saw significant delays. Now I love The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but I'm not going to wait 45 minutes for it!!! But hey, the kids LOVE those rides, so the parents wait.

Did you go to MK on Sun? I was wondering about the crowds there now with the early entry and all.

YEs we were at MK on Sunday. It was quite busy The wait for Jungle Cruise was 30 minutes, Pirates 10, Splash went from 10 to 45 in the 25 minutes it took to ride Big Thunder MT. Haunted Mansion was 30 minutes, Small World was 35 minutes, Space Mountain was 35 minutes, Buzz 40 minutes, Pooh 40 minutes.

We arrived at MK around 11:00 and left around 2:30 when it was raining.

Walked right onto TTA but it broke down twice and took 40 minutes to ride. :D

Hey i was on the transit authority when it broke down. Were you also on it because it ws kind of cool because i was out of the rain but i wanted to go to alien encounter because there was no line. And when we went on buzz a few times we only waited like 15-20 min each time.

We were at all the parks but MK from feb 24-feb 27,there was no waiting on anything but test track which was only 30 min. and star tours was 45 so we got fastpasses for those.

We ended up going to MK on Saturday because we were exhausted and it rained too much for us on Fri. Well, it was a zoo! Fantasyland was packed but the other lands were manageable. Even It`s a small world had a 1hr waite!lol

But Buzz was only 20 min, walked on TTA ,dumbo 20 min. , walked on alien encounter. So,we still did quite a bit.

We rode the TTA twice (stayed on) and got off just after the LONG breakdown at about 1:30 (I think). We were stopped right across the walkway from Alien Encounter.

Ted

Man i was around that area too when i got stuck wierd. i wonder if you are in any of my pictures i took. because i took pictures of everybody was stuck like me. what were you wearing?

I had on denim shorts and a white t shirt. Ted had on olive green shorts and a faded maroon (now almost pink) T shirt. We both have dark hair.

That's really neat, twista! The people directly in front of us was a young couple with two liltte girls, and what seemed to be the grandmother. The dad, and the kids were napping. They went around twice like us.

Holly

The wait times were everything you promised!:p It got to the point where we decided we could actually sleep in, and still had decent wait times when we finally arrived at the parks. ~:D~

SuzyQue,

I'm glad you got some sleep!!! :teeth:
