Just got back yesterday from the Swan

We just returned yesterday from 5 days at the Swan and I must say we were impressed. It is very magical at Disney this time of the year but staying at the swan made it that much nicer. not having to take the bus to the parks was the biggest plus. We were able to walk to both Epcot and MGM. That was a huge plus. We also had a view of Epcot from our balcony which was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wo asked I know where I am going to be staying this sumer.

When staying at the Swan, do you still get the same perks as the other Disney hotels? ex. extra magic hours, fast pass, DME

I"m so glad you enjoyed it! I've never gone during the holidays but the Swan/Dolphin is my very favorite! I love that area of WDW and the beds are so comfy they make you never want to leave!

We love the Swan too!!

Nictodisney - Yes, you get most of the perks of a Disney hotel, but no Magical Express. (You can get EMH, fast pass, package delivery to the hotel, etc)

We've always enjoyed our stays at the Swan!!!

Glad you enjoyed your trip. We were there Nov27-Dec lst. Just wondering if they finished the construction going on out back and by the bus stop area. Also did they put up any better christmas decorations by the lobby? Did you like the revolving entrance door. I personally dont like it and used the side door alot.

To the other poster - we had sunday brunch at the garden grove at the Swan, our lst time doing this, our kids are teens so we really didnt care about goofy or pluto but the food was great, made to order omelets, tons of fresh fruit choices etc. We are definetely doing this again our next trip. I only took it because another poster said they had mickey waffles and I promised the one ds he could have them on our trip and I couldnt get a adr at beach club or ohanas for breakfast.

My sister stayed there last week and I was very impressed with thier pool area. Much bigger and nicer than I expected.

We had a character meal at the Garden Grove. I thought it was pretty good but the kids didn't really have a lot of choices.

The construction in the Lobby going over the the Dolphin and Buses is still going on. The revolving door was ok I guess only used it the first night.

I am not sure but I do blieve you get most perks I know there is no magic express and I don't think they have any dining plan.
