After reading posts for weeks leading up to our vacation, about the expected crowds, I was really worried and upset. All without any reason! The ONLY ride we ever had to wait for was Splash Mountain for about 40 minutes. Everything else we just walked on! Soarin, could have been alittle tricky, but we rode that as soon as we got to Epcot. Then we fast passed it and went on to Test Track and Mission Space ( no line for both of these ) and then rode Soarin once more.
Tower of Terror and Areosmith, we just walk on and kept getting back on again. We did the extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom and stayed until MIDNIGHT! There was just enough people to make it fun, but no lines at all.

There was elevan of us all together...6 adults and 5 children (ages 10 - 14 ).
We all had a great time!!!

Don't worry...be happy :earsboy:

Lucky, lucky, lucky- I am jealous! DH and I were there for our honeymoon April 24- May 1 and it was sooooooooo crowded. I guess a lot of kids were on Spring Break at that time though. Now most families are waiting for the summer so there is a lull.....glad to hear you got to experience so many things though! :cool1:

Glad to know that. We're heading there this weekend. Now I just hope it doesn't rain. :sunny:

We also anticipated large crowds, but we were happy to find, there just weren't any! We were there May 11-16. Especially the 12th at MK, all day we kept saying how surprised we were that it wasn't more crowded?!! :confused3 It was great. ::yes::

I know just what you mean! After ALL the discussion and speculation about May crowds, I was there the week of May 9th and had no problem at all with crowds. The longest we waited was 20-25 minutes for Kali River Rapids and the Princesses in Toontown. Other than that we walked onto many rides or waited 5 or 10 minutes...not even a 10 minute wait for Soarin'. We even walked right on to BTMR and Splash Mountain!

Wasn't it great for all the worrying to find out there was nothing to worry about!? :rotfl: -- Much better than thinking it won't be crowded and having it be packed!

I think being a DIS'er helped alot though! I knew what times to avoid certain rides and things like that and I'm sure it made a difference.

Liznboys and I were there at the same time... no real waiting at all! It was a fabulous trip! :goodvibes :flower:
