[FONT=Garamond]We just got back yesterday from my childrens first trip to Disneyland....it was worth every penny!!!
here is a little scoop
* 2-eight year olds and a 2.5 year old
* we never spent more than 30 minutes in a line
* fast pass was key!
* the crowds on Wed and Thurs were great....Friday night was unbelievable...could not believe the crowds...packed
*stayed in a good neighbor hotel and used the shuttle worked out great
* went to Goofy's kitchen on our last morning---kids LOVED it
*Soaring over California was my favorite ride
*used ponchos for 20 minutes one day.....thanks for the tip from this board
*my 2 year old was scared at Pirates of the Carribean
* the parade and fireworks are amazing and worth camping out a site for
* 7pm parade was better than the 3pm parade....night time is longer
* weather was great....wore shorts and t-shirts the whole time except for a 20 minute rain one afternoon
* we did the shuttle during the day and then we would go back to the hotel for a break and when we came back at night we would park at Downtown Disney----you got 3 hours of parking free---and it was easy to leave instead of dealing with the masses
* we did the baby swap as recommend my this board....worked out great
* relatives gave my daughters Disney Dollars for a bday gift to spend in the park....was very fun for them to have their own spending money and REALLY decide what they wanted to spend their money one.
* wear good shoes....amazing how many miles you walk
