Just got back from POP - any questions?

Busses, how crowded were they?
Did you have a hairdyer in your room?
What building were you in, did you like it?
Do the doors have knobs or just those pull handle thingies? (Thinking of bringing a doorknob cover-safety first thing- for the interior knob to keep DS inside the room)

Hi! Hope you had a great time!! :goodvibes Just wondering if you had a fridge in your room...I read somewhere that they'll be putting refridgerators in the POP rooms (free of charge), and just wondered if that happened yet.

also, have heard various things about the air conditioning units...did you have a code to disable the motion detector so that it stayed on all of the time? any probs with your room being too warm?

Thanks!

Busses- hate to say it, but they really sucked during the busy times (9am-ish was BAD). Yesterday we waited through three busses to get to Magic Kingdom, we finally got on the FOURTH. The wait was about 1/2 hour to get on. During more 'off' times, the wait wasnt as bad. Most often there was at least one wheelchair to get on and off, which slowed things down. More than once, there were wheelchairs waiting, and only two can get on each bus, so they had to wait too. The resort was BOOKED SOLID for our entire trip though. Overall, the buses came very regularly, there were just SO MANY people they couldnt keep up.

Hairdryer - yep one of those standard hotel ones that hangs on the wall

Building - we were in the 70's section, it was a great location. Had to walk by the Goofy water playground everyday so ds always had to stop :rotfl: but it was fairly close to the buses, the food, and the main pool. Our room looked out at the lake :teeth: and also the other half of the resort that isnt complete. That was the downfall, the empty building across the lake, but I really appreciated the location. We were on the 3rd floor, so we didnt hear much noise from the people, but did hear those toilets :teeth:

Doors- pull handle thingys. But there is the lock up above that the kiddos cant reach.

Our room had no fridge. I was hoping as I had heard that rumor too, but we didnt get one, and neither did my parents, who had a connecting room.

The air is awesome imho! I like having a thermostat that I can use, instead of the typical hotel 'window' air conditioner that has 'high' med 'low' etc. We had ours set really low, but my dad likes it warm and he did feel like his room was cooler than he would like even set at 75, but I am sure he was getting the breeze from my room set at 68 :teeth:
