WOW, is how I would describe the BCV. It was our first trip "home" and we were thrilled. We took my sister and her family and stayed in 2 bedroom. We had room 542 and had the most excellent view of EPCOT! The EPCOT ball was so beautiful day and night and we had three separate balconies to sit on and enjoy the view. The room was perfect with no ants at all, clean and very well kept. We loved the location and SAB!! We've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas many times and this was truly a different type of vacation! We went to Beaches and Cream and ordered the "Kitchen Sink" and we went nuts!! It was very good and messy!! We went to the all of the parks and waterparks and even had time at night to go the the Boardwalk and enjoy the restaurants and even rent a Surrey Bike (whew, look out for the hills!!) Our first night there we did the Birthday Illumnation Cruise (my nephew turned 12) and it was AMAZING!!! And let me tell you about the Birthday Cake, it was probably the best cake I have ever had!! It truly was a wonderful trip and stay and I am just starting to unpack this morning and I am getting all choked up!! Nothing bad to say about BCV from me!! Any questions, just ask. We did just about everything!!!

Was your room a two bedroom dedicated? Were there two queens in the second bedroom or a queen and a sofa? Were you also over the canel? And finally (sorry) could you see Illuminations from your room?

Laura, sounds like you had a great time! I love BCV and I do especially love that location where you were at! I enjoy looking at Spaceship Earth both day and night.

Thank for the great trip report!

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip! We were at BCV the week before you and also had a great trip!:D

Thanks for the great trip report, Laura! I'm glad you had such a fabulous time at BCV. :D

Now, the best way to ward off those post-trip blues is to get busy and start planning your next trip! ;)

Very glad you enjoyed yourself so immensely!
We had 546 (a 1BR with full balcony) and agree the view is spectacular!
Don't forget, the 11-month window is just around the corner for same time next year!

pnelson - you can see Illuminations fireworks from those rooms but have to belly up to the balcony railing to do so. But the direct view of SSE more than makes up for it.

Yes, room 542 is a dedicated 2-bedroom with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa (which my niece said was actually very comfortable-she's 13). Our room faced the Epcot ball and between Epcot and our room was a road. You couldn't really see the road too well because the trees pretty much blocked the road and the road noise. Actually we were so busy looking at the view that we didn't even notice the road. I can honestly say that I don't even know if we could see Illuminations because we were NEVER in the room when the show was on!!!! We usually got in around 11:00 pm!! Sorry!! We were in pool at SAB once and could see the fireworks portion of the show!!! But the room was truly a very good one and I would request it again. Oh yeah, the elevators were down the hall an around the corner, not too far away. I really did like that each section had it's own balcony too because DH and I were in one room, the kids slept in the living room portion and my sister her husband and their daughter slept in the studio portion, so we had our own "down time". It 's a keeper!!!

So glad you had a wonderful trip!! We stayed at BCV in Oct 02 and had a view of Spaceship Earth. It really is a cool thing to look at you drift off to sleep at night.

Glad you had a great trip....thanks for the excellent report. BTW, we used to live in Rochester Hills. Still get "homesick" for that area.

Laura, I'm so glad your trip was "magical!" We just got back from 2 wonderful weeks at BCV.

I know there are lots of people who try all the DVC resorts, but it would be so hard to stay anywhere other than BCV - it really does feel like our "home".

Hi, disney4me4ever! Glad to meet a former Roch. Hills resident! Yes, it's a wonderful area to live. I feel very fortunate. But I see you're now in Wisconsin. That's such a beautiful state too! :D

Laura, did you guys finish your Kitchen Sink? :p
