Happy to answer your questions:
50s Prime Time Café:
Our waitress was Sister Jen and although she was low key she had a great repoire with her tables. She constantly complained that she was left doing the laundry and her work never seemed to end. There was a large table with a family of about 8 and their waiter was Uncle Dave. A little boy about the age of 7 or 8 named Kevin was celebrating his birthday and Uncle Dave picked him up and told everyone in our section that it was cousin Kevins Birthday and could we all sing to him. So we did- the whole section and Uncle Dave had a cake with a candle that Kevin blew out. We all clapped. The look on this little boys face was priceless! Uncle Dave then passed a birthday card around for all of us cousins to sign. We really had a great time. There was lots of yelling by some of the other waitresses "dont run in the kitchen" "call if you are going to be late" and a little scolding for not eating all the veggies but all in good fun.
My husband and I had the Chicken Pot Pie, which was excellent and very filling. The Pie was $12.99 each, an order of onions rings $4.49 and two iced tea $4.00 and two coffee $$4.00 for a total of 40.78 including tax.
BOMA:
We had a PS for 10:45 AM, which is one of the last PS's of the day as the restaurant closes at 11:00 AM and does not open again until dinner. Since we were at the Animal Kingdom this day we thought this was the perfect opportunity to try Bomas as well. I am glad we did the buffet was really good with a good selection of all Breakfast/brunch type food such as cereals, breads, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and omelet made to order. As well, there were several African foods such as flatbread and a few others that escape me at the moment. One of the highlights is the house fruit-juice made from about five different juices including pink lemonade really refreshing. The bill came to about $38.00 for two people including coffee. We thought this was well worth it.
Fultons Crab House:
We had the following appetizers; Escargot and Fried Calamari
For the entrées we had; Gulf Shrimp and Dungeness Crab Cake,
Fulton's Cioppino and the Grouper.
Although the food was good, we felt it to be a bit over priced for the quality. The total bill came to approximate $178.00 for four people and this included one drink each and two appetizers split between four.
We really enjoyed both Boma and Prime Time - however the prime time was expensive - it is a real experience. Fulton's was okay and I don't think I would eat there again.
Cheers,
Kim
