Hi all,
I was at DW all day Sunday. My DH dropped DD and myself off at AK around 9am. He drove straight in and did not pay a gate or parking fee. We looked around a little then headed for the river rapids. There was a "0" wait time. We loved the ride and stayed fairly dry. Another passenger suggested that we ask if we could stay on again. He said, "you have to ride it 'til you get wet." Well, there was still no line so we stayed in the raft. This time it was our turn. We got dreanched! We were totally soaked from head to foot. A line had formed by then and some folks looked rather horrified when we walked by. I purposely wore paddleing attire that is quick drying. It really felt good considering that the temperature was to reach 90. We did the Bugs and Dinosaurs. There was no wait. Then moved to MK.
A bus took us from AK to the TTC. We were the only ones on the bus. Then we caught the MRail to MK.
Longest wait was 25 mins. at Splash Mnt. (we stayed dry on it) I really don't think we waited that long. Most things were 10 mins, however we did not do anything in Fantasy Land. DD would not ride Space Mnt. but I heard the wait was not bad there. We left MK around 4pm, then on to Epcot.
Took the M.Rail to the TTC then on to Epcot. The longest wait on anything was just for the next show like HISTA. TT was about a 10 to 15 min. wait. We rode it twice and it was DD's favorite ride. She is 13. I could not talk her into MS. I'm not sure why she wouldn't ride it. I think it was just the fear of the unknown. We talked to folks that had ridden it and they did not feel any sickness. DH picked us up at Epcot around 8:30 pm.
3 Parks, 1 day, lots of fun and sore feet! I wanted to go to MGM but DD was afraid I'd make her ride TOT. She's ridden it before and said "no way" We should at least have stopped by for a photo so we could have said we did 4 parks, one day.
We did Discovery Cove on Saturday and SW on Monday. I'll report on that board.
Any questions just let me know. I'm getting ready to batton down the hatches. I have to come home from Fla to get ready for Isabel!
