Freezing here in Indy, so I book a last minute trip. Found a great price at Hilton lake Buena Vista. Decided we could swing a 2day ticket, go to MK and meet the Frozen girls in Epcot. The rest of the trip is pool and bumming around all the free stuff. We have been to the parks twice in 2 years. Oh and it is just me and DD 7. I have only stayed at Delux (pre DD lots of times, once with her.) and a condo last spring break with multiple families. Now I have a pin and a value resort would be same price as Hilton.. Thoughts? Thanks

If it's the same price and just a quick trip, I would change just for having the ability to get MBs and pre-book FP+. You will get way more accomplished that way, IMHO. Yes, the value room will be smaller but there are only 2 of you and it's only 2 nights.

OIC. I suppose that does change things a bit. Did you think of doing a split stay and doing a couple days on property for your park days and then moving off site? Although I still think the 2 of you would enjoy being on property for the 7 days. You could use Disney transport and check out some of the other resorts, go to DTD, etc...

Then if most of the time is lounging at resort...which resort has better pool for kids, activities etc would be my next deciding factor. I know my DD7 a pool slide is a must and the values do not have pool slides

True, true...also they have a cute campfire sing along with chip & dale at I think the campgrounds/fort wilderness forgot its been awhile and movie nights at all the different resorts.. Also price staying onsite with buying extra park day tickets..might not be that much more than buying 2 day tickets either
