just got a December code

I signed up for the free Disney planning DVD and got an e-mail with a code. Just waiting on Triple A to check it out, will not know if I save anything until tomorrow.

hm... I could really use a December code also Definitely let us know how much it saved you! Because I may have to consider sending for another planning DVD, because I got mine several months ago. Maybe I should go look in it again for a code. When did you receive yours?

How do you stnad the anticipation, I would have to be on the phone with CRO right now finding out what was available. I wouldn't wait for a AAA agent who might take half the day to get to me.

Besides, $82/night is the regular rate for a standard room at a Value resort anyway.

I did just call and it was $57.40 for my first 3 nights then $82. for my next 3 night and with my hopper passes & dining plan it came out to be $300 cheaper then triple AAA.

$69/night for the length of my entire 7 day stay including a weekend. My dates are 12/11 to 12/17.

Just thought I would share my rates.

I did just call and it was $57.40 for my first 3 nights then $82. for my next 3 night and with my hopper passes & dining plan it came out to be $300 cheaper then triple AAA.

I wonder if your AAA agent could have booked the whole thing...giving you the pin code discount (30%) for the first 3 nights, and the AAA discount (20%) for the last 3 nights? Might save enough to pay for some of the gratutites on the DDP.

Triple AAA just called and added my code and I saved $180.

All you people getting codes are SO lucky! I've ordered DVD's called to see if I have pins, etc. but never get anything. (My sister, who has never even been to Disney, gets stuff in the mail all the time though!)

Most if not all will only cover up to Dec 18. AAA stops at Dec 18, so I am paying the Holiday rate beginning Dec 19. That is usually the same date Disney will stop at. The bounceback rates stops on Dec 13.

I asked this on another thread but never got an answer. Let's say you call today and find out you have a discount code. Do you have to make your reservation right then or can you call back in a few days and still use the code?

I think I have read about people doing it both ways, because some would have their TA book it the next day. I have never been lucky enough to get a code, but if I did, I would sure call Disney right away.

ETA: Just remember the code, just in case another CM tries to tell you there isn't one, I have read about that happening, too.
