I can see this going either way. They've done it for two years; so, why not continue the trend to the General Public? Even if August is filling up more there's September, too. Disney could always limit the offer to fewer rooms, etc. to the General Public.

The other side is the offer went out to the Brits and December visitors, already. That was new; so, it may not be offered to others. Maybe, this is all that will have the chance for the offer, this year. Some say the cast members are saying no dice this year.

So, do you feel strong enough to cast your hunch for which way it will go?

I think Disney might offer a different promotion this year... but if free dining IS announced, I will be very pumped and book right away!!!!

The offer for free dinning for December, what group was the offered to? We will be staying on site 12/9-12/16. I am trying to find all the short cuts I can!!!

Hi. I am curious about the December thing as well. It might be worth pushing our vacation out a week.

:rotfl2: It wasn't free dining in December, it was that in December resort guest could book the promotion early for this coming Aug/Sept 2007 trips. IT was called the bounce back promotion. It ended on Dec. 31 2006. December is way too busy to have to encourage folks to come. As for the free dining, there is a strong rumor out now on the resort/code boards of the possibily of dates for the release. Not good for me as the window of the release is very small. I repeat just a rumor from a non-official disney website.

Yes - Disney will offer the free dining package again. It's Disney's year of a MILLION DREAMS - so this dream of them offering the free dining will come true. AND STOP WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE WAVES MAN! pirate:

The free dining plan will be offered. They need the free dining plan in order to up attendance at the park.

I was there last year with the free dining plan (last week of August right before Labor Day), and the parks were still relatively empty. Hardly any waits for any of the big attractions. Stayed at POFQ, and occupancy did not seem anywhere near capicity.

Also they just announced the pirate pirate: pirate: princess party for late August....... they will definietely want to sell that. What a better way than to offer Free Dining.

Without the free dining offer, it will be a ghost town.

It is just a waiting game now ! :hourglass

I was on the fence . . . but a posting on touring plans dot com yesterday convinced me it's gonna happen! This thread has more detail.

I think they will...but I do think it will be for a shorter period than the past two years...and I think a requirement will be a longer stay than in previous years. That's my two cents...and it's worth what you paid for it! :lmao:

Since I read tour plans this voted yes.:lmao:

Now I need to change my plans a bit and wait for April 15.:surfweb: :hourglass
