Just finished the last PS - Here's where we're eating in Dec!

I'm so excited because I'm finally finished making all the PS arrangements for our December trip to the Wilderness Lodge! It makes it feel like the trip is really getting closer. We will be staying 10 nights. We are trying to mix in a few new places with some of our old favorites. I've listed the places we are going to eat and indicated the ones we will be visiting for the first time. I would love to hear reviews and reccomendations for the places that will be new to us.

Breakfasts: Most of our breakfasts will be eaten in our room - muffins, cereal bars, fruit, etc. that we bring from home. We are also eating breakfasts at the following places:
-Kona Cafe
-Whispering Canyon Cafe

Lunches: Most of our lunches will be either at Roaring Forks or at one of the counter service places in the parks. We are also eating lunches at the following places:
-Whispering Canyon Cafe
-Cap'n Jacks (1st time)
-Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian
-Cinderella's (This is the one PS I still have to make. Can't wait till 60 days out!)

Dinners:
-Jiko (1st time)
-O'hana, before MVMCP
-Spoodles
-Mickey's Backyard BBQ (1st time)
-Restaurant Marrakesh
-Trails End (1st time)
-Artist Point
-Columbia Restaurant in Celebration (1st time)

We will probably get pizza delivered in the room once or twice for dinner too. We enjoy eating pizza on our WL balcony and watching the water pageant.

Sounds great!! We will be at WL for our first Christmas trip. I have been working on our dining arrangements and ps's and it is fun but takes quite a bit of thought and planning. Have a great trip!

I know what you mean about the PS arraingments making the trip seem closer! Looks like some good eating...the only place on your list that I've tried is Cinderella's Royal Table and it was G DOUBLE O D!

We tried Captn Jacks in Dec and really enjoyed it. It was quiet and we had a great view of the water. It was a great first night place because we were tired and didn't have a PS. Not outstanding food but very good!

Hi! I noticed that you have a ps for Mickey's Backyard BBQ. We're also going in December, but I thought the BBQ was seasonal and only ran through October. Did they change something? We think ds (3) would love it!

Actually, the BBQ is now running on "selected" dates in November and December. I think there are maybe four nights in December this year. One of them just happens to be on Dec. 17th - my birthday! I'm not sure what the other nights are, but you could calling 407-WDW-DINE and ask!
