Just did a split stay

We just got back from a split stay at yc and poly. on the morning of our move, we packed up, and had two bags in the refrigerator. we called bell services about 8, and they promptly got our stuff. dont know if you have to be there with them, but after reading reports of lost articles, i felt like i wanted to make certain they got all our stuff out of the room. they stored it on site. we went to mk, i called the poly about 1130 and our room was ready. we had lunch and checked in at the poly. our luggage wasnt there yet. when we got to our room, our phone was ringing that our luggage was there and they brought it over. bell services said 2-3 hours to deliver our luggage when they first picked it up at the yc. it took closer to 4, but we werent checked in yet anyway. went really smooth. my advice is to get bell services to your room first thing in the morning, and they should have your luggage to your new resort by the time you check in. our cold stuff was still cold, too.

Thanks for that report. I am thinking of a split stay in Dec 2006. Just out of curiousity, did you book room only and then buy tickets later?

Thanks for your report I am also considering a split stay in 06. I can't afford deluxe for the whole trip so was thinking of doing value/deluxe.
