Just Dance 1 vs 2 vs Zumba

I'm currently a member of Curves, which I'm trying to do 3 days a week and I do Zumba + Curves once a week to mix it up a bit and also because my club charges $2 per session so I don't want to do it every time.

I have a Wii with Wii Fit but I kind of find that a bit boring. I was wondering if anybody has recommendations on Just Dance 1, Just Dance 2, and Zumba Fitness. I was thinking it would be nice to have something fun and cardio-ish on my off days.

My first thoughts are it looks like Just Dance 1 might have the better tracklist but Just Dance 2 has a better interface, and I'm not sure about Zumba at all.

Thanks for sharing!

I have just dance 1 & 2. I have to say that I like the dances and music better on #1. The other thing that #1 has is that you have the option of playing the song in a short version or long version. So depending on my mood I go through a bunch of songs, or if it is a favorite I do the long version.

Dance 2 has some fun songs too, and it is nice to have a variety between the 2, but if I could only choose 1 I would keep Just Dance #1.

hope that helps.

I'm interested to see what anyone thinks of the Zumba for the Wii. We have the Fit, but I haven't used it since we got it probably about 2 years ago. I did some of the yoga and liked it. The family room is always such a mess. I really don't want to pick it up to work out. I really need to get on the kids about picking it up. It's all their junk anyway.

Hi just thought I would reply to this threadmas I have zumba fitness for the wii.

I really have fun using it and prefer it to wii fit. I find that after a good session of this I feel like I have had a good workout.

Advantages:
You can decide how long you want your workout to last (one song or an entire 45 min session)

You don't have to have any basic dancing skills, cause I can tell you now that I have 2 left feet and I can still stumble along to the routines.

The songs are catchy and I find the dance moves to be quite fun as well.

You don't need to have ever been to a zumba class to enjoy it, and you can enjoy the routines om the privacy of your home .

Disadvantages:
It is a bit annoying when you first start out because the tutorials were a bit useless and frustrating. They don't use the wii remote and dont tell you if you are doing the move correctly the instructor just shows it to you.

Depending on where you position the belt and wii remote around your hips the game may not register some body movements.

So that's basically it, I love the zumba fitness and is helping me achieve weightloss. I would just recommend closing your curtains and starting straight into the game and skipping the tutorials all together.
I find that even if I don't get an amazingly high score on the game as long as I have attempted the moves I still have had a workout.

Hope this helps.
