Anyone else see the sail boat camped out in the 1800 loop this weekend??? I have pics Ill have to post. Just kind of odd.........

Yes! We noticed it early last week while looping. Thought it was pretty interesting...those folks were camping in their boat!

I have seen people camping in their boats a few times. A few years ago there was about a 35' offshore cabin cruiser in the 100 loop. This boat was huge and on a tractor trailer type rig. The tractor was in the overflow lot and the boat and trailer totally filled the site. They had a 10' stepladder they used to get in and out of the boat. I would have loved to see how they got it in or out of the loop. It looked so out of place. I wish I had taken pictures.

It kind of took me by suprise. I never expected to see a sail boat in FW, but was there. But then he was the only equiped for the weekend. Heaviest rain Ive ever seen.......lol.

They were a few sites away from us. Have seen other boaters doing likewise in the past.

Great way to see both land and sea.
