With all the distribution problems Disney has been having with the 100 Yrs. of Dreams set is there anyone that did not get the pins they wanted either buy purchasing or trading?

It seems to me that there are plenty to go around, except for #1 maybe, and they are just not being sent out to the places with higher demands.

So far I have been very lucky. But you wouldn't believe all the TDS pins I have traded and sold at cost to all parts of the U.S. I felt like a Disney Store myself there for awhile and cut off significantly! ;)
But this is really in the early stages and appears to be getting worse and worse evry week. I had planned on getting the entire set, but now hoping I can do so.
I have a feeling my Des Moines in-laws will be pinch hitting for me in the future, as they did this week. It's bad when DH is #3 in line and can't buy a full set!

Hi Dom!

I do not have the pins I wanted. It's not necessarily Disney's fault. Hubby is working extra hard in his business, so I dress and stay at the hockey rink with ds. Start at 5:00am on Saturday morning and don't get out til 11:00! By the time I visit the Trumbull or Milford store, they are out or nearly out.

As much as I'd like to collect them, it's not possible!

I come back each Saturday from the DS and my other errands.

I sit down at my PC and begin working. :D

First I check what I have against my list for DH, my kids, and DIS friends.
I hand over the pins requested to the family.
I tag the DIS friends pins and send out email confirming what I have for them.
Then I begin reading DIS (and Dizpins) boards, seeing who else might need a pin or two from my remaining pile.
I start sending out emails to those I might be able to help, always carefully tagging pins that might get traded/sold.
By about 3 PM EDT, I have a whole section of my desk covered with piles of pins with yellow stickies on them.
If things run smoothly, by sunday evening I have a stack of LBEs and no pins left.

It's like having a part-time weekend job! On the other hand, it has already led to the acquaintance of some great new pinfriends, and to a couple of very lucky trades for other pins. So I'm not really complaining . . . because I'm actually having a great time! :D

Eeyore's Pal -- We are SO alike in many ways!
I go to the one TDS store. I buy two sets. One for me. One to trade. On shorted pins, I just buy one.
Then I go to the other TDS. Mostly just to see if anyone else is dragging around traders. (not yet ;) ) I have even sold a pin (at cost) from the first store to a guest at the second store, just so they can get a complete collection!
Then I run home to read the Dis and see what everyone needs. Then I run back to my stores and see what's left, if anything (lately).
I had been buying extra pins on Thursday or Friday, for traders for our upcoming January trip. I have even been selling/trading those!
I have been very thankful to get extras of what others needed/wanted (except #1) at the Des Moines store.
There for awhile I was starting to get too confused with all my TDS pin piles and e-mails stacked around the room. A lot of outgoing pin sells/trades! I was afraid I would screw up. I think I need a wall of storage boxes! Yea -- that's the ticket! :jester:

LauraJean - I have extras of some of the first 3 weeks pins. If there are any that you need/want let me know. They are traders for the most part and with a few exceptions one's as good as the next.

I don't mind selling them, at cost , either as I'm going to WDW and the extra cash wouldn't hurt!
