Connor'Dad--Great to see another Illini Fan on the boards. I had begun to wonder if I was the only downstate DVC member around. Drove to Schaumburg just to see the new DVC store and you would have thought I had come from Timbuktu!

Another downstater here. I would have loved to run up to Schaumburg, it just wasn't in the cards.

me -- I'm a clinical psychologist working in the counseling center of a state college. I'm able to teach a few psych courses on the side, which pays for the Disney trips.

DH -- is a 36 year vet of teaching high school social studies. Max retirement is at 37 1/2 in CT, so he thinks he'll retire then. I will really look forward to December trips that are NOT at Christmas!

I am also a registered nurse at an Adolescent Residential Facility, full time - three days a week, and I get to spend the rest of my time with my two beautiful daughters! Truly the best of both worlds. I am also dreamily, happily married to my DW PEANUT1!!!! She is the only one who could put up with a disney freak like me!!!

Plus I work very hard on the resorts board of the DIS helping others plan a trip to Disney.
DH owns his own company.
He is a builder (he built 2 of our homes) and he also owns commercial and rental property.

I am an elementary school principal and my DW is a third grade teacher. We both love what we do!!!!!!! No not for the reason we get 3 months off in the summer. Trust me we put in the hours during the school year that equals a 12 month employment!!!!!!
