Just curious, What is your occupation?

I am a technology manager for a major bank. My focus is on application development, especially web-based. I cringe every time I use the dvcmember.com web site. I can't think how online banking customers would react if our site were as troublesome as Disney's.

Now this is funny...I am a Technology Delivery Manager who has a good shot of working with Mike since I am also working at a major bank in NC. I swear Mike that server.... it is on it's way :rotfl2:

DH is a Systems Engineer for a Computer Manufacturer.

Hi, I'm an Inventory Planner for major automotive company and DH is a home remodeling contractor.

Hello fellow Oregonian. We own as SSR 370 point. Just did the Transatlanic Westbound. Met a couple from Eugene Oregon.

I'm an actor, but when I don't have a gig I've moonlighted at many things.

I'm just to go back out on a cruise ship for 4 - 8 months (have done this twice already) in hopes of saving up for our wedding.

My fiance is going to school to finish up his degree, and will graduate this May.

I'm considering either heading to real estate school, or culinary school when I get home.

I have been a SAHM for almost 8 years now, since DD was born.
Before that I worked in banking.

DH is an accountant, worked in commercial real estate accounting his whole career and just jumped over to fund adminstrating--real estate funds, so a little of the same stuff, a lot different.
It got him out of NYC and back into NJ 10 minutes from home.:thumbsup2

What he really loves is firefighting, but trying to get a job doing that was impossible where we lived, and then when it was a slight possibility, the starting pay was too low for us to live on, and now he's 40 and besides the low starting salary, he's officially too old. LOL
So he does it for free, ;) He's a captain in our volunteer department.
He teaches at the fire training academy on the side.

I am an account manager for a software distribution company (my fancy way of saying i work in sales :rotfl2:)

I'm an information security professional. Basically, I keep the hackers out of our corporate network.

If you're thinking of making a big career change, you might as well consider all alternatives to the traditional "occupation". Go read "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferris. Best advice I can give.

My occupation? System Analyst working on changing to a 4-hour work week!

I'm a Sales Manager for an Engineered products group- specializing in Ultra Deep Water Drilling solutions.

I'm a science teacher at the county youth house (detention center). DH is a project manager for a national retirement community developer.
