I got my DD3 a few cute items from the
Disney Store's back to school stuff and their Cinderella stuff-- last fall they had that big Cindy promotional push and there were some cute things. So she had a few special Cindy outifts to wear, but other than that I just packed the best of what was left from summer that fit her (and wasn't stained!)
She acquired a new tshirt there which she wore on the plane home, and which she will most likely wear on this year's trip if it still fits.
I think I will take her to the Disney store to pick out one "special" outfit to take with us. Depending on what she picks, she'll wear it for our last park evening or to Cinderella's gala Feast. She is most likely to pick a dress of some kind, so I am guessing she'll be wearing it to the Gala Feast at GF.
Last year my MIL got her a Lilo outfit and she wore it to the Spirit of Aloha. It still fits, and we are going to the show again so she'll wear it again. I just got a GREAT hibiscus print dress for myself on ebay to wear to the show and I am going to get her a waikiki Mickey dress from Disneyshopping.com outlet for when we eat at O'Hana's. (4.99!)
She will be receiving an Aurora dress as a birthday gift for wearing to the PPTea. Whichever princess she chooses to be for Halloween this year (its a dead heat between Jasmine and Belle right now) will be what she wears to CRT-- although the pictures of her with Cindy at CRT in her Cindy costume from last year were absolutely gorgeous. But this is childhood, not a photo shoot, so if she wants to be Cindy-- great-- otherwise she'll get to visit CRT as a Princess to be Named Later.
As to what *we* wear-- I pack my nicest casual clothes. I like the pictures to be nice, and I like the feeling of occassion that comes from wearing a put together outfit. When we go to a beach house or camping, well, I am Mrs Tank Top and Cutoffs-- but at Disney I like to dress up a little bit. My DH wears the best of his tshirts (I glean what I can from his pile leaving at home all paint stains and bleach spots!

)and khaki shorts and for our TS dinners he usually wears golf shirts or rayon button-up shirts with nicer khaki shorts.
We are all hat wearers, too-- really helps with the heat and the sunburns!
