My now exdh would have done so without asking. However, if he flat out said NO, I would flat out say NO to a lot of things he wanted as well.![]()

I mean, really, what is more impressive than a man that can carry 15 grocery bags and a 12 pack at once?

Mine would not complain, but it would take so long for him to find his shoes and coat that I would get most of the groceries in myself before he was ready. Even if I call him on the way home. *sigh*Just wondering if you came home from the grocery store and asked DH to help carry in groceries, would he willingly, would he do it but complain? Or would he flat out say NO?....
). If he hasn't gone shopping with me and doesn't notice I've gotten home, he'll be irritated if I carry them all in myself. "Why didn't you call me?"
WOW....there are some lucky gals out there...I was raised in a house where my dad always helped my mom without even asking. So that was my role model, gotta love dear old dad. My DH does help me but always with a snotty remark. I think it just isn't very nice. I NEVER ask him to put groceries away, I just like help every once in a while. Don't get me wrong my DH is a good guy, but for some reason this asking of help is a thorn in his side....
Unless I am home alone I never unpack the car. He and the kids do it and I will put them food away as they bring in the groceries.
My dh would come out and help without me having to ask.
Believe me he does many other annoying things. This is one good thing he actually does though..
what she and my FIL did for her DIL's.
