We camped this past weekend at Ft Wilderness, our first trip there. Well technically my second but I was like 13 my first time. I am 51 now. All I remember from my first trip was riding the train to the MK.
Anyway it was great. We arrived Friday morning, got our site assignment (#1936) and off I went and could not back into my site. We have an Expedition and a popup and I could not back into the site. The trash can across from us prevented me from being able to make the turn. Lucky for me I was able to whip around and come in the loop from the wrong direction and was able to back it in in a snap. It was great. FW is great, we loved it. We will be doing that again.

It is definitely addicting. We also were assigned that site with our new travel trailer after trading our pop. It was my husbands first back in with the tt. Between the trees and the trashcans it only took us about 45 minutes to get in the site! And we are still married!

Glad it went well.

:thumbsup2Thanks for the trip report. I am so happy to see trip reports from new folks. I think everyone can tell that the users of this board love reading all trip reports....short and sweet or long and detailed....with pictures or without....lots of humor or just the facts....we just love trip reports and encourage all users to submit one so we can live vicariously through you!

Thanks everyone, theres always more to a story from the hugemongulas thunder clap that set off car alarms early in the AM to my bike rack breaking driving out of Orlando on I-4 and dragging my Trek by it's back wheel :scared1: until a kind driver zoomed up beside us and made motions that there was a problem.
Still it was a great trip.:)

Glad ya'll hadda good Fort time. It wouldn't be a Fort trip without a mishap, (like Bike dragging).

you can tell us about the fishing later, popcorn::
