Just closed some help please

Hi with the help of everyone here I just closed today on a small VGF contract, so happy, via resale, my first one. So I was just notified it closed today and the closing agent emailed that Disney will be notified within 24 hours and could take up to 5 weeks for them to set up account and up to 15 days for points to load. UGH! My question is does Disney set up a log into the DVC website or do I have to do something?
Also, does this link up with My Current My Disney Experience app and log in or do I have to connect them?
Any help as to what to do would be appreciated!
 
Those are long estimates. I just closed on 12/21 and had the membership showing up in my account on 1/3. All your Disney accounts should commingle nicely - Disney IT (as challenging as it is) at least is linked together. You'll be getting an email with login info for the disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com website once your contract gets added. After that happens it takes a few days for Member Administration to send things to Member Services so I'd leave MS alone for like a week if you're not desperate to book something (they can't add points until they get the info from MA). But after like a week from your contract showing up on your account, you can call Members Services and ask them nicely if they can add your points and they usually will (especially if you have a trip you'd really like to book or have a deadline for banking/etc coming up). Welcome Home!

I would like to book but in no rush Im flexible so I wont bother them, just wasnt sure what to do.
