Just Closed Resale Question!

Our resale contract finally closed yesterday (took two months) and I am wondering how fast some of you have found yourselves in the system after closing. We are hoping for a reservation at OKW in Aug so I want to call ASAP. They told me it could take up to 10 days. Has anybody found you're in the MS system faster than that?

It took 2 days to add the contract I bought via resale to my existing contracts and an additional day for the points to be input. This was last month.

Don't wait for MS to contact you. Call MS and they can check on your account and give you the necessary log in info for the Members website.

Closed (add-on) on Monday, points in system on Thursday of this week.

We closed on a Tuesday. Our member number was in the system Thursday and we made our first ressie on Friday. MS told us to call each day after 2 pm because the updates to the system would be complete by then. We just closed the end of May.Good Luck.

We tell our customers at The Time Sharestore,Inc. that it can take up to 10days to get the package entered into the DVC system but there have been many times when it takes less than 10 days. I would just call Disney Member Services on the 4th day and see it you are in the system. If not try again on the 5th day and so on....
Also be aware that when you do show up in the system there are times when your points are not in the account. Don't panic this is normal. DVC Administration enters you in the system and then Member Services transfers the points into your account. This transfer can take a day or so. Once the points show up you will be all set and able to make any reservations you want.
All in all we say 10 days for this to happen, but it can take less time.

We closed January 27 and were in the system when I called on January 29.

Day 5 and I just called MS to check and we're still not inWill try again tomorrow and hope for the best. I'll feel so much better when this reservation is made!
