We have a split stay, 1 night on -site our first night then a week off. We are hitting the parks hard for 3 days Labor Day Weekend, MNSSHP and then probably 1 additional day later in the week. So, we have 60 day selection for days 1 &2, but 30 after that. Our MK/DHS days sadly fall into the 30 day territory (hoping MNSSHP helps out on that a bit)and out MK day has late EMH so I am figuring high crowds but what can you do?
So how has it been going for the 30 day out folks for getting @ MK:
7DMT,SM, BTMRR, LM (basically all of the new Fantasyland as it is the first time seeing it since the expansion)
@ DHS:
RNR, TOT,TSM?
@Epcot:
TT, Soarin', MS?
We don't need A&E..I'm after the other 2 sisters, Anastasia and Druzilla ;)

I'm not too worried about our mid-week day since crowds levels are predicted pretty low, but Sun/Mon of Labor Day Weekend have me uh-oh'ing a bit lol

Thanks!

Except for the "top 4," or so, figure to be able to get most attractions without many issues at 30 days out.

This may change as more and more guests become "aware."

We have just barely scratched the surface on
general guest awareness of the need to make advance FP+ reservations.

What do you consider the "top 4"?

yikes! I was thinking that a lot of people are aware and using the new system, that the internet has most informed. Add that just on here so many posting that they can't get choices..well I guess I will be leaning heavily on MNSSHP for getting on the biggies at MK, and getting up very early for the the others. I did get 5 day hoppers "just in case" but won't have our DD with for 1, possible 2 of those days:sad1: but hey, she lives there so while I can miss having her with us, she gets to go whenever she can.
I feel like I am in the Hunger Games of WDW and I'm NOT Katniss :scared:

Thanks again, Robo...probably getting pretty sick of me by now

OP - just an FYI since I noticed you had listed both RnRC and TSM and TT and Soarin'.....Epcot and HS are tierd. Those rides are both in Tier 1 so you can only prebook 1 of them. TT and RnRC have single rider lines which I believe have an age limit of 7 to be able to use it. So for you HS.day you might prebooked tsm and then ride single rider for RnRC. For Epcot prebook soarin' and ride single.rider for TT.

I just booked fastpasses for four people just a few days ago at their 30-day mark. Everything was available, including Anna and Elsa, for multiple times. It is now day 22 and A&E are gone, but it took several days before that happened.

So 7DMT,SM, BTMRR, LM are considered to be the difficult to get FP? Guess I'm not understanding....I can book all 4 of those right now (actually all 5 because I'm not sure whether by SM you mean Space or Splash Mtn.).

In fact, for today the only unavailable at MK are A&E and the Fantasy Parade, I can get Wishes and Electrical Parade for today, which was a bit more difficult when we were a couple weeks ago...but we were able to get even those a few days in advance. 7DMT is available today but only one time listed, the others give me an alternate selection, but not tomorrow, so it may be one to book in advance since it's still brand new. It's noon at WDW and the app shows a 70 minute wait for 7DMT.....so a FP would definitely be a good idea to avoid that wait, but the others show several time choices.

At EPCOT for today, the only unavailable is Illuminations.

DHS is still showing all the SWW shows which of course aren't available, but otherwise everything is available.

AK everything, including Lion King are available for Today. I would have thought Lion King would be a bit more difficult given it just reopened.

I'm just trying to understand.....our FP opens early August, and I will book a couple things (parades and Fireworks and A&E) but everything else seems to be easy to get same day. Now, maybe they aren't the exact times you want, and maybe that's more important to others....we just are happy to book it and practically walk on.

I got FPs for 9 people for the week of July 4 (so a busy time) at 30 days out for everything I wanted including A&E (although they had just released night dates) and 7 Dwarves. I am choosing to go to Toy Story first thing so took RnR and Tower of Terror instead. At Epcot I got Soarin easily.

I also am semi local and met a friend while she was here. At a day out I could get Soarin' to go with her and also Splash and BTMR.

I am finding that I can pretty much get what I want but it's not always time wise good. Except for A&E I have been able to keep playing with times to get things where I want them.

Oh, and although I am making it work I don't like it.

Additionally there are a catrillion people that don't know about this. My daughter works in Attractions and has multiple people a day tell her they have a FP because they have a ticket (sort of like because you are in the park it's automatically on your ticket magically). There are also many people who tell her they can't afford FPs...all the same things people said before this. One day she said she basically spent her time explaining to people how it worked over and over again and they had no FPs, no MDE, etc.

The only thing hard to get is A&E. Seven dwarfs at the 30 day window is normally always there. You'll only start running into scarcity with that once you go around the 2 week and under prior to your trip.

Everything else, you can book freely whenever you want. 30 days in advance or 7 days in advance, it should all be there.

I just booked FP's about 1 week out and got everything we wanted. Everything was available aside from Seven Dwarves and A&E

I just did 30 days booking this week and everything is out there.

The only thing that I was not ready for was that you have to plan on late afternoon/evening FPs for the MK if you want the two big ticket items. So the 4th FP becomes something of a non-factor there.

And, by extension, you can see the potential for what can be happening
as more and more and more and more outside guests become aware of
the ability/desirability/necessity to make FP+ advance reservations either 30 or 60 days (or 60 days +) in advance.

We here on the DIS are largely "in the loop."

The "loop" will expand to include many thousands more guests as time goes by
and more guests learn the system.

I scheduled everything I wanted at 30 days out for the 4th of july week even and got everything I wanted for the 11ish to 2ish time frames. I believe getting the most desired rides as well, taking into consideration the tiers of course. The only thing I was not able to get earlier in the day was seven dwarfs. I got a 5pm FP for that. But I waited until after work to schedule, I bet if I got up early and did it before work I could have gotten earlier.
