As started
it was a 10am flight out of Philly, but did not over night there, headed to OrlandoI bet that can happen at places which are popular connections. I doubt the OP will have that issue on a 6:30 AM flight (I hope she doesn't!).
At this point there is little advantage to adding EBCI. The spot you get is based on when you bought EBCI. The only help it would be now is if someone is not able to check in right at the 24hr mark. If it were me I would be bugging my DH all day long to make sure he had the finger on the button at the exact time.Trying to decide whether to add EB to my reservation next Saturday out of Philly. I'm thinking it could be a waste of money, especially since they just lowered the price on my 5:30 pm flight to $52 (which means another trip will be planned, have to use that credit!). With them discounting the price, logically you would think the flight has a good amount of seats left, right?
My main dilemma is I will be driving home from work at 5:30 on Friday, and will have to rely on my husband to be ready on the computer at 5:30 on the dot to get those boarding passes!

And yes, even worth it to pull over and do it yourself on the dot at 5:30.
Funny little A1 story....This July my daughter and I were A1 and A2. First the plane had through passengers, then there was a huge preboarding line because made a wish had something going on. Provably about 100 people. The family boarding wad already lining up and that looked to be about 50 passages. We were the first two to board with regular boarding passes and the plane as over half full. I'm guessing the people in B were some of the last to board. Its the luck of the draw.
). The very first announcement they make regarding boarding procedures this guy jumps up out of his seat and marches over to take his position at A1. He even had his boarding card proudly displayed in his shirt pocket with the big A1 right there for all to see. He ended up standing there for probably 20 minutes before they actually asked anyone to line up. It really seemed like he wanted everyone to know that he had the A1. The whole thing really amused me.That's too funny. The only reason we had them is we paid to upgrade. My teenage daughter has severe flying anxiety and would not be able to fly alone. Our EBCI got us a high B. I thought people thought of us as suckers for paying more rather than having a trophy.Funny little A1 story....
A couple years ago my DD and I were flying home from MCO and I kept seeing this man. Seemed like every place we went in the airport, there he was. Turned out that he was on our flight (that sort of thing seems to happen to me a lot).
