Just can't get excited :(

We go on Sunday for our second trip in 6mths and I just can't get excited about it and I have no idea why.

I don't know if it is because I know it will be freezing (which I knew at the time of booking!), the fact that the exchange rate is horrific, the poor reports from many people coming back.... I just don't know.

I was more excited about it a month ago than I am now...I think I must be odd

I'm feeling pretty similar, think its the cold, and the fact that the last trip really doesnt feel like long ago.

Sure i'll feel different this time in 2 weeks though!

Oh no, can't get excited about dlrp We go on sunday too, and I can not wait I keep checking the weather on a daily basis and yes at the moment it is forecast to be VERY cold, which i'm even more excited about, last year when we went in January it rained and that was really depressing. I'm taking DS2 to buy a hat which covers his ears tomorrow, not that he'll wear it. He usually refuses to wear his coat, no matter how cold it is. Hope you get excited soon. Yes if will be busy
Yes the rate of exchange is bad

but who cares about that ......we will be in DLP and we will all have a ball Things could be worse we could be staying at home

I know what you mean we go back on Sunday too. We were there in June and loved it, we couldn't wait too re-book but now I think we made a mistake, but it's too late now.

Hopefully we'll feel better when we get there. I mean, at least we can't be disappointed if we're expecting the worst right?

It doesn't help when the kids play up either. Our DS, 5, is being terrible just now. I'm very close to actually leaving him behind

You will have a great time I loved it. My trip report is a positive one so have a read its in 4 parts on the trip report board.

Not really sure what to expect from DS2, He is autistic, hates crowds and last time we went during the christmas season he refused to watch any parade because they were different, he hated the snow on main street, he kept trying to clean it off his clothes and to top it his favourite ride potc is closed as from the 5th. So all in all we could be in for a fun time. But I am still really really excited.

You won't fail to be caught up in the excitement once you arrive ....we go on Friday and I am excited but also feeling tired after Christmas and bit overwhelmed at amount of stuff still to organise before we go, but once we are on our way sure I will be fine!

If you are prepared for the cold and crowds they are easier to cope with.

I'll be back in work so would willingly swap and be there instead

I felt a bit like that before we went-negative comments were getting me a bit down about it but I had a great time!
