OK well I'll take on the trip, the 4 year old and I'll even do it in a bikini (and thats not a pretty sight) to have some Disney magic rather than be in work. I work for HBOS and at the mo we're trying to get on with stuff whilst waiting to find out if our jobs still exist post 19th Jan when we become part of Lloyds so just tell me where to be and when!!

Oh no I feel really ungrateful now, think not feeling the magic yet was partly due to going to docs today as not been well for a few weeks and having to go for a blood test in the morning

But..... have taken advice of reading trip reports and packed and now def feeling in the mood!!! Thanks for the good vibes everyone!!

our trip earlier this month was fab, i loved it!!!! and that was takin a 5 yr old from hell too (he nearly got left at home too - must be a theme with 5yr olds )

am sure ull all get into the magic when yr there, and maybe ull get real snow too!?!?!?! and im gutted *** loads of u r gonna meet up too

have a great time, and maybe pick up sum sale bargains too!

I've cheered up a bit since packing and being on here all day too and you're all right, it beats being at work.

And the meet will be great, I'm really looking forward to it. My son is still being an absolute nightmare, but once I bind and gag him there will be nothing left to get me down about this trip

We go on Sunday for our second trip in 6mths and I just can't get excited about it and I have no idea why.

I don't know if it is because I know it will be freezing (which I knew at the time of booking!), the fact that the exchange rate is horrific, the poor reports from many people coming back.... I just don't know.

I was more excited about it a month ago than I am now...I think I must be odd

I'm sure (or hope) the excitement will return in a couple of days' time. I felt the same as you after reading the reports etc ... then a couple of days before, I started to get excited again. Hopefully it won't be as crowded as it has been over the Christmas hols. Apart from this and that lol, we did have an enjoyable time overall !!

I know how your feeling, all i keep worrying about is the exchange rate and weather to take Kyra's pushchair or not.

Do you think she's likely to have a nap at some point during the day? If yes, then I'd say take it with you. We were umming and ahhing whether or not to take Adam's buggy coz we know he'll be happier running/walking around. We did bring it with us in the end and it was a pain having to go get the buggy from the "buggy park" after each ride (esp as he hardly sat in the darn thing most of the time) but he did have a nap sometime during the afternoon. We knew he was knackered when he himself asked to sit in the buggy lol.. he'd sit in it for a few mins, then he was up and running again.

Kyra does not nap during the day ever lol, she only sleeps during the day if she is ill.

What im thinking is getting the buggy from the room about 3ish so she can sit and watch the parade.

She said to me yesterday when we was walking home from the town that she needed to go get her pillow and blankie and rest up for Disney

Yep, she's right!! She needs all that rested energy for next week . I guess it'll be very convenient to pop back to the room to get the buggy

Thats what i thought. I'm sure ill get on the train no problem lol.
