I just called WDW to check out what discounts I had if any and they gave me15% off a moderate. I guess beggers can't be choosy!!!!!!! or whatever that darn saying is LOL!

I called this morning to inquire about availability for a late July trip and was told I had a pin code attached to my name. 30% off a deluxe resort. I went ahead and booked the Beach Club for July 18 - 24. I am excited

Wow, I am so happy that everyone had such good results with the calls! I didn't ask what a deluxe percentage off was, maybe I should have, but I know it still would be too expensive for us. We are excited to check out the refurbed rooms at POR

Hmmmm...I just called and she told me that PIN codes are emailed to you, and if you get one, YOU call THEM with the code. I'm assuming i didn't have a code then..or did I just go about this the wrong way?? She asked if I a reservation and I said not yet, we were just in the planning stages. Do I have to give specific dates? Or should I call back and talk to someone else? LOL..I was really hoping for something!

You do get them through email sometimes, but people report having them attached to their names when they call and not knowing. So it never hurts to ask!

I'd call again too. I just told them that I was getting ready to book but needed ot check to see if I had a pin first. She checked, said yes and told me she couldn't tell me what it was until I gave her dates and resort. I did and she gave me the total before pin and after.

I'm booked to go in June w/ no discounts or pin codes. Who do you call to check? I assume you have to be a past guest for them to "have you in their system" to check for pins/discounts, right? The last time I went to WDW was in 2001 so does that mean they'd have me in their system?

Yup you would be in the system! Just call the reservations number and ask!

Can you tell me what the dates were? I called and was told we have a free dining pin, but he couldn't tell me the dates.

OMG, I just called & the lady said I had a pin. She couldn't apply it to my current reservation at Art of Animation (maybe b/c the hotel's not open yet?) but asked her to check All Star Music family suite & it worked! So, I'm getting the room & park hopper tix for $200 less than the posted price PLUS I'm getting water park tix for free! Not too bad!

Thanks for all of yall on this board...otherwise I wouldn't have known these things existed!!!

lonestar- I got an email about the pin you got. It is free park hopper and waterpark when you book a non discounted package. We're not using it b/c we got another pin for 25-30-35% off room only, but I'm glad you got a good deal.
