Anyone try to get a RGR at POR? We have a bounceback booked but some friends want to go and stay in a RGR.

When Free Dining is generally offered for September are we able to book it online when it goes public? We are a family of 10 going and need four rooms. While I don't mind calling on Monday and making all those reservations I would rather be able to do it all online and get it done more quickly.

And as far as availability will more rooms open up for POP? We surely hope so!

Last year for the later dates that were released in August, it took a few hours for the offer to be online to book. Not sure how it will be this time.

My reservation is confirmed at All Star movies for Sep 10-20. Do I have to call right away to get the FD applied or I have some time.

No you would not be able to apply FD to any of your trip It has to be the day you check-in not check-out....Sorry

No. Your checkin date must be on one of the FD days to get it.

I think it was offered they were just booked already when I called. Only value resorts were still available but since you have your trip already booked maybe they'll let you apply it

I just booked air yesterday. I will be booking POR on Monday. I will have to book a room only for the 24th. But we had to do that last year also.

We actually had a BB but had to cancel due to DH work training. But that has now been moved.

I already had 3 rooms booked at POP for 9/15-9/22. Called to add the free dining and was told that it kept trying to change my resort to All Star Sports. She said it wasn't wanting to allow her to do Free Dining at POP and told me she was going to go to guest services and have them override it since we already had the 3 rooms booked there. A minute later she came back and said that she was told they wouldn't be doing any overrides and that POP wasn't available for free dining and the only thing that was coming up as an option was All Star Sports. I asked if on Monday when it went out to the general public would more rooms open up and she said she wasn't sure. How irritating. Sounds like they didn't have many options/rooms to begin with this time. I'll keep trying.

I believe its a minimum of 3 nights and you need to buy at least a 2 day base ticket to be able to take advantage of FD!
