Hi. I'm fairly new to the boards (less than 1 month) but have found so much useful information already. I've been to WDW twice before but this time decided to do the planning and budgeting by myself. I, like most, also enjoy an occasional (or frequent;) )bargain. Anyway I feel like I've done pretty good so far. I've managed to save about $200 for the trip over what the travel agent quoted me just by planning myself, cutting a few corners and taking your tips and strategies. I stumbled onto this board from another board (which?). I wondered what type of rewards these different programs offer and what you have to do. Is it a lot of web surfing, registering or purchasing - I've never explored this before. Are these ways to earn DIS $$ - if so, I'm interested! Thanks for all the info all over the boards!

welcome to the reward board! Glad to have you.

I will bump a post for you reward program How to that should get you started.

Pick one program and get the hang of it then add another.

All programs give points for surfing(which is what most of us do)
you also get credit for purchases and signing up for offers and such.

I mostly surf but do use reward programs whenever I make a purchase off the net.

don't do many sign ups cuz they annoy me LOL

Have fun and if you need help everyone here is very helpful and full of knowledge.

Welcome Susie!

I have only one thing to add...unusual for me.

Mal is our Queen and you should listen to her as if all that she says comes from the "Good Book" of rewards!:D

Mal,
Could you give me some advice on what would be thebest program to start with. I too am new to this, but I love the idea of earning Disney stuff. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Milesource is one of the easiest to master.I have been doing it for years and is one of the ones I do everyday.(I used to do over 10 day but after the first of the year I cut back-slowly adding them again)

you can go ahead and add MyPoints right away too. They will send you emails and click on those for points.Slow earner but so so very easy.

That's two that are a Breeze.

Then my next choice to add would be Reward TV I love this one you can cash out about every 6 days for a $5 GC every two weeks for a $10.

If you have trouble with the Trivia PM me.(that goes for anyone)

Mal,
Do you want me to use you as a referal to the Milesource site? If you would just PM me with your info. I am looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks for the advice.

Hi Mal -

Think I'll give this one a whirl too. (Like my fingers aren't cramping enough!) Can you pm/email me referral?

Mal,

How many points are the 'real' RewardTV awards worth? I find it frustrating that I can't set point goals so I know how much further I need to go to get X thing. :)

Thanks!

BK
