just bought the volo

Just want some reassurance that I bought the right stroller. After reading so many post on the subject and testing about a bazillion strollers in the store we settled on the volo for my ds who is 13 months. It seemed to be the lightest and most compact, yet he was still comfy in it. Even though it does not recline he was still laid back in it. I also bought a hip hammock. Wish I had bought this alot sooner! My ds is so big for his age that he quickly out grew the snugli! Can't wait for our trip to try it all out!

Congrats on your Volo purchase!!! I hope you had a good deal. Babystyle has a deal for $69.99 right now for new models that include the sun canopy. I don't have a Volo, but I recently got a Maclaren Quest Mod that I absolutely ADORE. The Volo is supposed to be lighter than the Quest, so you should be in GREAT spape, considering the Quest is pretty light itself!!!

Everyone raves about Maclaren's and I don't think you could go wrong with the Volo. GOOD LUCK!!!

The only thing that would concern me though is having no recline. Are you sure you won't need a recline with a 13 month old? I know that my kids napped in their stroller quite a bit at that age. The model with the recline may be a bit heavier and more expensive but would be worth the extra weight and price to me since my kids used the recline quite a bit, especially at disney. But, if your little one isn't a stroller napper, you may be fine without it. Just something to consider.

thanks. My ds will be 16 months when we go, and he is not a stroller napper! We will be going back to the resort for naps. I actually used it today at the mall, and my biggest complaint is that it is to laid back. My ds can not sit up in it. So I may be taking it back.
