Just bought OKW resale - how will this work?

We have just purchased 270 pts. on an OKW resale. It has a February use year. There are 151 pts. banked from 2002 & we will get the 270 pts. in February.

What happens in February if the 151 2002 pts. are not booked for something? We are hoping we can use them in Nov/Dec of 2003. However............. a few questions pop into our minds regarding this:

1. We have literally just sent in the paperwork to The Timeshare Store. What should happen if we don't close by February?

2. What happens if I book something for Nov/Dec & then our plans change & we can not use those 151 pts? Do I lose them or what?

You would have to use the banked 2002 points by January 31, 2004 or you will lose them. You don't have to book them by February 2002, you can book them anytime for a stay from February 1, 2003 to January 31, 2004.

Hi Melsmice!
We just decided to add 150 points to our DVC membership by purchasing VWL through The Timeshare Store. I can understand your confusion - we have 400 points from HH (October) and now 150 VWL (March)!
Will have a ball deciding what to do and when to do it now, won't we?!
