Just booked the airfare!

For 2 a total of $230.40. That's roundtrip on Airtran from Pgh to Orlando!

Very excited at the deal we got since the lowest we have ever paid was $230 per person for round trip.

Now that is more money that I can spend in the parks!

Now if only I could find such a deal. Can't find anything less than 129/one way (before taxes).

Are these direct flights or do you stop or connect?

I found $59 each way, but need to stop in VA or GA before FLA!

These are direct flights. It was a web fare special that I found a couple of days ago. I finally got all of my ducks in a row and was able to book, so happy to see it was still there.

Not sure about now though.

Flying from Chicago the best I could find was $668.50 total including all fees for 5 passengers(that $133.70 ea). It was at usa3000air.com (they fly into Ft Lauderdale only).

Just booked ATA from Chicago for 5 at $783.55 ($156.71 ea),direct flight into MCO non-stop. I was very satisfied with the find, especially as we are flying in just 15 days. We were originally going to drive.

Glad we are flying now.

Now I have to book a rental. I am thinking a midsize (Stratus or like) from dollar for 9 days @ 177.00 otd ($133.00 + taxes & fees). My only question now is that would it fit all of us (5) with luggage if it had to, and then, how likely am I to get an upgrade at no addtional $$. I hear many people do get a larger vehicle at time of pickup, but I suppose that's not neccessarily so.... can't count on it I guess. Next size up is substansially more ($50 - 70 dollars for rental period).

Just keep looking and be flexible.

I used to say that all the time....there are never any great deals out of Pittsburgh (I think one of the reasons why was US Air had everything wrapped up, not necessarily a bad thing that they are fading away) and then one day, when looking through the website of Pgh International, I stumbled on the web fare!

Just be patient and persistent!
