Just Booked Polynesian for Jan 2009

WOOHOO! We're going to Disney!

Dream's Really DO Come True!

Can't wait for the packages to come out. I hope they haven't changed anything about the Dining Plan again! (unless of course they make it better!) Looking forward to the next couple weeks when we find out!

This will be my first trip for us as adults, and the first trip for our 3 yo and 2 yo.

Ok -- things I learned today:

1. Photopass: I need to pre-order ($99) this and book a photo session a the Poly 30 days in advance.

2. Request A Microwave (free) for the poly! (Trying to add it to reservation, but need to ask at check in.

3. Need to find our about the LIME stuff???? Search is not working, but will find out soon! I read about it in the Cult Thread....

4. I can't post links until I have 10 posts...

5. I still have no idea which longhouse or view to request for my Poly visit!

I am at 180 days out and just tried to book my Dining -- AND THEY SAID I CAN'T UNTIL OCTOBER!!

I can't book my dang package until nearly September, and I have to wait until October for Dining Reservations. I am also worried what the dining plan will look like in 09.

Hopefully things will all work out!

1. Booked California Grill for our first night, right before the fireworks.

2. Booedk Kona Cafe for our second night, since we will be staying at the Poly.

3. I found out Coral Reefs do free diver signs and personalized menus -- which is great because we are going to celebrate my DH & DS1's bdays!

4 Also going to try to get the wake-up call from Mickey & the transportation trading cards.

5. Still need to find out about the free shows in the parks. Also, are the tours, Like Family Magic tour - Free? (i think not....)

6. Debating on calling itinerary planning..?

7. Also debating about getting a package and/or Dining Package.

Great resort!!! We love it there-28 days to go!
Also great time of year! We went mid-Jan. & it was perfect-weather & crowds! Can't see going that time of year in our future- daughter is going into middle school & can't take her out as much as before
As far as the lime green mickey heads??? That's what you are referring to?...
Home depot has these paint "chips" -The color is alien green. Have fun planning!!!

Basically, CM (Cast Members) are at specific places in the parks and will take lots of family photos of you in the park, then you have the rights to all the images for $100. Or, you can add a 30 photo session for $25 (the poly has one there) and have about 40 family portraits taken around the resort, inside and out!

Disney has it all!
