I honestly don't know what happened. This will be our 3rd trip. We tend to visit every 4 years. I always am on the phone making our adr the first day the window opens. Somehow, Febuary did not seem that close to me. on our past trips we have done; Be Our Gust, Teppan Edo, Rose & Crown, 1900 Park fair, Sci-Fi diner.

Our kids are now 13 & 16 so I don't think we need any character meals. I realize things might have changed in the last 4 years. What do you recommend? And wich ones do i need to make immediately?

You may struggle to find Be our Guest and Sci-Fi. But if you do, keep looking, people will cancel as their trip gets closer.

Since your kids are a little older instead of character meals they might enjoy the fun wait staff at the 50's Prime Time in HS and the lively entertainment and food at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue in Fort Wilderness.
You should start looking for reservations now and take what you can get as long as it fits with your travel schedule. You can always continue to look for restaurant openings and change reservations as things open up.

BOG is definitely gettable -may not be dinner but lunch and breakfast will open for sure. The polynesian dinner show may be of interest too. Don't forget disney springs. I think The Edison will be open by then and that should be a fun dining environment. There are other great options at DS too- T Rex is fun as is Planet Hollywood. Beaches and Cream is cool too.

That age probably ohana for dinner. Teppan Edo if you enjoy it. sci fi could still be fun. Maybe Trex.

My kids are the same age as yours... they still love Be Our Guest for lunch (do it immediately), and Whispering Canyon. If you haven't done Ohana (immediately), you should really try for that. It's hit or miss for some, but we have loved it both times we have eaten there. Another favorite is Tusker House on our AK day... we prefer it for brunch or pre-park (hard to get).

I don't know when we will be back, but a few on my list that we haven't been to include Boma, The Wave, Trail's End, and maybe Captain's Grille (I think that's the name).

Boma is awesome (both breakfast and dinner). I loved Tusker House breakfast and would probably still go there even if I didn't have young children :)
Liberty Tree Tavern in MK was good (I was there for lunch).

My kids love whipering canyon but they are 6 and 8. If the kids would still be into it, then I would do that one for sure.

Whispering Canyon, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine. I think you are safe with buffets, unless they aren't picky. I have ten year old twins and one is picky and one isn't! Picking restaurants is always a struggle. DH and I like everything!

Boma, Cape May, Chef de France. I would have your kids look at some menus and decide.

We also love Whispering Canyon - so much fun and good food. Also Boma's breakfast is fantastic.
We also love Ohana dinner, Sanaa lunch or dinner, Via Napoli, Kona Cafe breakfast, Liberty tree lunch is good and so is dinner if you like that type of food, and lastly we always go to Hoop Dee Doo - so much fun.
