And, we're really excited! I've started reading the threads to find out all I can. Any suggestions? We're booked for the Dream 3 day cruise to the Bahamas next September.
#2 scares me because I think that will be exactly what happens! I'm sure I will have lots of questions. I'm an obsessive planner so I'll probably be asking a lot of questions!
I would budget for the $200 deposit per stateroom you'll have to put down when you rebook onboard. You don't have to commit to a certain cruise at that time, but when you do commit, pick a cruise as far in the future as possible to get the best rate.
And, yes, three days on the Dream will not be enough time to do it all. You will be itching to get back for more.
Congratulations, that's wonderful. The 3 day Bahamas cruise is how we got started and I remember how excited we were. It's not hard to remember since we're still equally excited before each of our cruises.
I travel a lot, and one thing, I always strive to remember, is to notice when people around me are stressed and make an extra effort to smile and be kind at those times.
We did this itinerary back in January and are going again for Halloween and the 4 night for Christmas. As was said above there is a TON of things to do, just don't try to do them all. Make sure you plan to spend plenty of time relaxing. Ask as many questions as you like on the forums, there are very few people that bite.
Our main targets for these sailings are dressing up for Pirate Night parties, getting a Cabana for Castaway Cay day and spending a quite day on the ship for the Nassau day.
