We went to WDW almost 5 years ago for our 9yo's daughter first trip. We are now planning my 4yo's first trip. I have booked reservations at Port Orleans Riverside in the Bayou area requesting a room with a trundle bed. My daughter NEEDS her own bed and I felt like this was one of a few options. Any other ideas?

Also, we are going the week before Thanksgiving from Nov 16 to Nov. 22. How busy will it be during that time? My daughter will be missing 4 days of school so I am a little flexible on when we go. Would I be better off changing the dates? We plan on completing some medical stuff for her so we would need to go after November.

Also, I know I need to make some dining reservations asap. When we went 5 years ago the trip was very magical for our daughter. We did the entire princess thing but now she is done with that and could care less for that but she would enjoy character meals. So far I have decided that we will do Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, O'hana, and Le Cellier. Any other recommendations? Are there any character meals that have the Toy Story characters? My son would love that.

I paid the deposit yesterday and feel quite lost this time around. Our last trip was a year long planned trip so I would appreciate any advice.

You have asked about 3 different things: Resorts, Theme Parks and Dining. You would get more responses and advice if you split up your questions and post them on them on the individual boards we have here for each topic.

Enjoy your trip! :)

Welcome Aboard!

I'm still planning my first trip, but there are several boards that will help you with each of your questions. Do you have 2 or 3 children? You only mention a daughter, but said she needs her own bed. There are also Suites at one of the All star resorts- I'm a little scattered this morning.:confused3

There are a lot of questions I can think of from your post and I agree that you probably need to ask more detailed questions in the other boards.

Resorts
Restaurants

We'll be going in December! I can't wait to see all the Christmas decor!!! :) There are a lot of different event going on at Christmas, the Very Merry Christmas Party and then the Candlelight Processional. Its a great time of year to go!
