Just booked our 1st trip!

I am overjoyed that we will be taking DS to Disney and will be celebrating his 5th Birthday there!

This our 1st trip as a family and I haven't been in over 10 years so I feel like a total Newbie.

Hi LAJMommy. I'm so excited & happy for you and your family! You're visiting at a perfect time for your son...he's the perfect age to appreciate all of the magic. If I may give you a tip: make sure he wears his "Celebrating My Birthday" button that he'll get at the resort, at all times. Cast Members & Characters of all kinds really go out of their way to say "Happy Birthday". We go to WDW each year on my husband's birthday, and when he wears that button we all feel like VIP's...Even characters in the parades wave & say Happy Birthday! Your son will never forget it.
