Just booked our 1st cruise. So excited!!!

My DH and 2 DD's are booked on the 8/21 Cruise as well. My DD's are 10 and 5. We are all very excited.

So Happy for you :cheer2:. As other's have already stated you are going to have such a great time!

That is great for you all as we just sailed with our 26 & 22 DD & DS 16 shows that you can take your "kids" at any age. It was great! Enjoy!

Hi everyone. My family and I are booked on this cruise. DS is 11 and dd is 9. We are also on the 8/17 sailing. This will be the other piece of our B2B cruise.

My Dh and I celebrate our 20th anniversary next year. Our DS's who will be 17 and 15 will be going also. We are going 8/21/14, 3 night and then going to the world after the cruise. We go to the world every year and have talked about a cruise and decided not to put it off no more.

Any thoughts or ideas for this newbie cruisin family are wanted. I want to make this a great experience for everyone.

I am so excited I think I might just bust. :goodvibes
Hi, We just booked our first Disney Cruise 8/21/14. How do we sign up for the fish extender?

Posting here too in case people aren't on the FB group...

working on my FE gifts. If you send me your family name I can personalize.

Thanks!

Checking in to say Hi! We actually booked this back in November and are traveling with the Kaykels wedding crew for my DSIL's Castaway wedding. This is our 9th Disney cruise but we haven't been in 3 or 4 years so are excited to see the new ship.
DDs are 12 and 8 and very excited to get back onboard. I just added us to the FB group for the Fish Extenders.
Am busy with end-of the-school-year activities (only 14 days left!) but will be able to check in a bit more soon.:cool1:

Finally PIF and booked our airfare!! Woohoo cannot wait! We are doing a B2B with the 8/24 DVC Members cruise so 7 nights on the dream for us!!

Hi, I will be there and looking forward to my first Disney cruise! Have no kids myself, but my sister and 2 nieces (4 & 6) will be on the cruise too. :) Never been on a Disney cruise but I am a big Disney fan, and just recently became a cruise fan too. :)

I was on a Royal Caribbean Bahamas cruise out of Baltimore a couple of weeks ago, and while at Cocoa Beach, saw a Disney ship pulling out of Port Canaveral. I figured out later that it was probably the Dream. Sure enough, the next day we docked right next to it in Nassau! Standing on an upper deck of our ship I could see the people going down the Aquaduck. lol. From my dinner table on Grandeur that night I could see the Dream's pretty lights. I was probably more excited about the Disney ship sighting than anything else in Nassau. :rotfl:

The Aug 21-24 Dream cruise is our first time cruising and we are so excited! DH is 49 and I just turned 41 so looking for some fun in the sun/relaxing. Hopefully if I like sailing with Disney we will book one of the Norway trips next August, THAT sounds like a lot of fun.

So how do we get involved in the fish extender thing? Sounds like a lot of fun to me :-):cool1:

Cut off date is July 20th. https://www.facebook.com/groups/August2014Dream/

Hi all! My DS22 and I will be joining you on this sailing for his birthday! :cool1: I am just off the Wonder in Alaska and this will be my 5th cruise. This will be my son's very first cruise. We will be at POFQ for three days before the cruise. Getting excited! Also joined the FB group.

Booked our first Disney Cruise last week. My wife and I were planning on taking our two children to the parks in Feb, but when my parents offered to take the whole family on a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas leaving Jan 2nd (6 adults, 5 kids), we decided to change our plans and do the parks over New Years and then relax on the Dream. We ended up booking 3 4A rooms all next to each other which will allow a nice joined verandah for the three rooms.

Really looking forward to the trip and love reading all the info on these boards. I'm a big planner when it comes to the parks - hopefully I'll be able to relax and be a bit more flexible on the cruise... maybe.

I look forward to interacting with everyone and having the experienced travelers answer all my questions. ;)

My wife and myself will be on this cruise

It will be our second DCL cruise as we did the same cruise last year.

This year we will be flying over from the UK early August so have almost 3 weeks driving around Florida clockwise from Orlando, down the Atlantic coast to the Keys and back up the Gulf coast and round again to Port Canaveral to finish off with the cruise - it's going to be great :banana::banana:
