Just booked magical express! No problem!

I just called to add Magical Express to an existing reservation for the end of May. I was on hold for about 5 minutes while he put in all the info. Then I gave him our flight info and we were all set. He said we will receive a packet in the mail 3 weeks prior to the trip with our baggage tags in it. This is really going to be too cool if it works out smoothly! Since we are flying Delta, he said we will get our boarding passes and check our luggage at SSR.

Thanks for posting this. I thought we had to call them 3 weeks before . So you called them about 6 or 7 weeks ahead then, huh? Good to know. (I don't have to worry about it until Nov, but I'm glad you posted this for others that need to know sooner!).

It is completely free. The CM said that they are only getting a request to add it on to a reservation once every few days, so they keep having to remember how to do it. I guess word has not gotten out too much yet.

I just added Magical Express to my reservation as well. No problems, they did indicate that they had to add my airline info(flying Independence Air) but that I was set.

How do you do this if you are not flying on one of the listed airlines? Northwest is not yet one of the airlines. Will they still allow you to ride for free, even if you can't check your luggage ahead of time? I am more than willing to get my bag from baggage claim if I can use the free shuttle. And for people renting points, how will they use this? Can they call with their confirmation number and set it up"?
