pirate: I have just booked our 6 seats to At World's End pirate: for 26th May! Unfortunately we couldn't go on the 24th or the 25th, as DH was working a late shift on the 24th, and DD 1 has dancing after school on the 25th, and as the kids like to make a big event out of it, with a meal out afterwards, we have had to go for the Saturday. I will have to keep my eyes and ears away from any spoilers for the 2 days prior to seeing it, and I am gutted that I won't be seeing it on the first day of release, but am so very excited all the same!

Has anyone else booked yet!

only 26 days to go!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thanks for the reminder - I must get our tickets. We usually make an evening of it too with a meal at Frankie & Benny's too

Mandy :)

Hi Sarah,
I didn't know that the tickets were for sale yet, where are you going to see it? we usually go to llandudno!

Thanx for the reminder, will have to book seats for this as my Dd will never forgive me if i forget!:thumbsup2

HI

We usually go to Cheshire Oaks Vue Cinema. The screen seems bigger, but you do have to queue for ages to get the best seats.

Then we go to Pizza Hut or Old Orleans for a meal after!

I also like the Cineworld in Llandudno, but for really big long awaited blockbusters we always make a day of it and go to Cheshire Oaks. You can book on line aswell which is great!

:woohoo: Brilliant! might do that as well!

Well done Sarah! pirate: I've booked too! :yay: We're going for my birthday treat but as my birthday is the 30th we can't possibly wait until then :rotfl2: so we're going on the 26th too. Just have to avoid any spoilers until then! ;)

i got spiderman on sat but we'll go to f and bs first and we got poc 3 so many films coming out this yr

We're booked in for opening night at Vue in Leeds, can't wait! We're also going to opening night for Spiderman 3 this week and hoping to get opening night for Shrek 3 and Harry Potter 5 too!

I got the email from the Odeon offering tickets but Cineworld is closer and nicer so I'm holding out until they are doing preorders - then we will watch it on the 24th and email you as soon as we get back Sarah to tell you the whole story and how it ends

Noooooooooo! i'm soooo jealous.pirate:
We can't go on the 24th as my son has a GCSE at 8.40 the following morning (wouldn't be fair to leave him at home studying......would it?)
then we're going to Cornwall in the early early hours of the 26th, so won't be able to go for a least a week or so, then it's exams exams exams all the way until June 15:teacher: How can I avoid spoilers for that long?

Great news! I'm sure it's going to be a great movie.

I will be removing ALL internet access from the 24th until I have seen it!
I knew far too much about DMC before I went to see that one, and this time I want lots of surprises! Hopefully this time I won't be leaving the cinema in tears :sad1: , although I probably will because it's the end of the trilogy!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Booked our tickets for the 24th - they have special 'delux' screens at Milton Keynes with fewer seats that are mega comfy and even recline! You even have a private bar you can go in! The tickets are a little more expensive but for some who gets easily irritated by large noisy crowds in a cinema it is ideal!

It might be an hour away from us but it'll be worth it to see the film in comfort and relative quiet.

I know what you mean about spoilers Sarah - leading up to Star Wars Episode 1 I tried to read as little as possible although I'm a massive Star Wars anorak. I bought the CD weeks before the film and on the night we were to see it I thought I'd get on the mood by playing it for the first time. On looking at the back of the CD I read something which kind of gave something quite pivotal away - track 15 is called: Qui-Gon's Noble End! Oh poo :(
