Just Booked It

We decided just a couple of days ago that it would be fun to hit WDW again this year, anyway, 2 days later we've booked a trip for November at the POR (using Lori and Magical Memories. Great so far!).

Which is your favorite section at POR? We've never stayed there. We've never been during November either, good time to go? (Nov. 12 - 19)?? Is the weather nice during the day? Usually we get pretty wiped out by the heat when we go at the end of August/beginning of September.

Alligator Bayou!

I love it's rustic look and feel and the gardens and the smell and the shade and the buildings and I wish I was there right now...

Ditto for Alligator Bayou ... the landscaping is lush and beautiful; foliage everywhere, courtyards and small footbridges ... just gorgeous. The mansion section is also pretty, but more formally landscaped. And I always thought the weather in November was the best. Warm days in the 70's with no humidity, very little chance of rain. Wish we could go then!

We like AB -- Bldg 14 or 15. 14 is primarily for handicap so is hard to get into. The mansion theme is a bit formal for us...we prefer the rustic AB theme.

Weather is absolutely wonderful compared to when you were there. Been there ... done that ..

Now go for 11 days starting on Thanksgiving, each year. The weather is very nice then and a little warmer at the beginning of November. One word of caution. We always bring some clothes for cold weather. The temps at night can drop -- depending on what you are used to -- When we lived in Northern Idaho it didn't feel very cold. Now that we have been in Arizona for many years, it seems cold. I think our blood is thinner.

You will really enjoy yourself at that time of the year.
