Just booked ADR-didn' get them all

I called when they opened this morning for our May 10-15 trip. I got everything I wanted except Le Cellier was booked for dinner on the 13th and 14h already. Can the place really be that good LOL. The CM on the phone told me that Teppan Edo had excellent steaks so I put that one down for now. Everything else was wide open.

May 10 Kona Cafe (6:30)
May 11 PT 50's (6:50)
May 12 Biergarten (1:00)
May 13 Teppan Edo(7:30)
May 14 Ohana (8:30)

Can't wait, the only one I might chane is Teppan Edo.

Looks good! You may want to try again for LeCellier when it's 90 days from the actual date you're dining there. In the past it's been reported that they hold some tables to release at exactly 90 days out.

Teppen Edo is good food & fun. A must do every trip for us.

Chef Mickey may be a problem because it's one of the three that isn't at 90 days yet, it's available until June 19, 2009. (Chef Mickey, Cinderella's Royal Table and Victoria & Albert's are the three that apply to this)

Once we're 90 days from June 19, these three will be the same as the others and available at 90 days.

Teppen Edo is fun. We really liked the filet with scallops - you have to pay a few dollars extra if you're on DDP but it's really worth it.

Teppan Edo does have good steak, but it's not "steak". It's cut up steak stir fry.

If you want good "steak", like Le Cellier style, there are better options.

Just FYI, you will get Sirloin at 'Ohanas, and Kona Cafe also has a Teriyaki Grilled Sirloin on the menu as well. In my opinion, Teppan Edo is "more of the same"...i.e. steak with an Asian style sauce...

I'd go for something different:

Coral Reef
The Wave
Grand Floridian Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Flying Fish

All these places offer good "steaks" on the menu, and they are 1TS credit if you are on the dining plan.

And, if you choose a signature dining location, you have even MORE options:
