Both myself and the OP are booked for next June. I have my confirmation with the correct price stating Pirate Room. I called to book mine but the option to book is up on the website too.

I want to try this so bad, but for a few dollars more i can get into AKL or WL. Unless we get a substantial AP discount on the room, we'll just have to admire the pictures everyone will be posting next year.

I got the skinny. The CM's were told the pirate rooms werent available to book yet but since its showing online theyre booking them by phone as well.

I know it's still MONTHS away, but I can't wait to see some real pics to see how close it will be to the drawings. I think these rooms are going to be really great or really creepy. Only time will tell. Kudos to Disney for figuring out another way to cash in on the POTC movies. I love Pirates!!

Yes I am sure that I booked a pirate room for June 7-9, 2009 ... That is what it says on my confirmation.
Total cost for two nights/three days is $472.50 (no discounts, no extras)
(A.K. or W.L. would have been $652 for a stand. room or about 90 bucks more per night.)
